Wow, there are SO MANY Bit-Part & Extras from Everyday TV shows from the 60s & 70s in this movie it is wild.... At least 1 of the 'Mob Guys' was on Streets of San Fransisco, Dan August & some of the stuff like "Rookies"...
THE REALITY OF THIS MOVIE IS THAT IT IS A GREAT COPS-MAFIA-INTRIGUE MOVIE THAT HAS PORNO SEX SCENES AS PART OF THE CHARACTERS...
I remember when I was in my early 20s there was a lot of discussion of having a Main Stream movie, like a Bond or Dirty Harry or French Connection type of action movie, have Real & Actual Sex Scenes for 'everyday realism' of life.... It was passed on at time, but think in late-80s & 90s someone did mainstream a sex scene in a Big Movie.
