I agree with you that if it was one's own sister/GF/mother you wouldn't find it as funny. I respect women and every woman is someone's daughter and most are sisters/mothers etc. but you have to accept, if it's funny it's just funny. I'd see the funny side of that if it was my sister. I don't believe for a second that she didn't know that bloke from Adam. For all any of us know she might have totally owned him with a worse prank before that.
